Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel, Desert Hot Springs

My stay at Desert Hot Springs Hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel has a really cool vibe but is located in the wrong place. The rooms were very run down, which was disappointing, but the service from the staff, except for one woman at the front desk, was great. The location was perfect for our day travels to Joshua Tree National Park, but some parts were extremely dirty and run down. The dining experience in the Cafe was very good, and the facilities were excellent. However, the additional charges on top of the original deposit were a downside.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient for my travels, and the dining options were delicious. The facilities were well-maintained overall.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were fine, spacious, and the AC worked well, but there were issues with the door peephole and smoking AC unit. The service was lacking as staff seemed more involved in their own conversations and didn't address my concerns promptly. The location was ideal for my stay, although there were minor inconveniences like someone else's rubbish and water gushing in. The dining experience was delicious and offered a healthy selection, especially at Marongo Casino.
